Terms of Use

HandyGifts is a digital gift card marketplace operated in Jamaica. Gift cards are issued and the underlying payments are processed by HandyPay. References to “we,” “us,” and “HandyGifts” mean the operator of this marketplace; references to a “merchant” mean the participating business whose gift card you buy.

You agree to use HandyGifts only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• buy or resell gift cards fraudulently, or with funds you are not authorised to use;
• attempt to probe, scan, or breach the security of the site or its payment systems;
• use automated means to scrape, harvest, or place orders in bulk without our written permission; or
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or merchant.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to make a purchase.

All prices are shown in Jamaican dollars (JMD) unless stated otherwise. Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel any order, for example where a card is mispriced, where we suspect fraud, or where a merchant is no longer participating. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged.

Gift cards are governed by the Gift Card Terms, which form part of these terms. Cards are redeemable only at the participating merchant identified on the card, are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and may carry expiry or balance rules set by that merchant.

You can check out as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

The HandyGifts name, logo, site design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. Merchant names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used with permission to identify the gift cards offered. Nothing here grants you a right to use any of these marks.

The marketplace is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Jamaican law, including liability for fraud. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
